Step 1: Download the program

In Safari -

• Click this link to download http://www.mind.net/infostream/setup.dmg
• Double click the InfoStream Web Accelerator.pkg To begin the installation

In Internet Explorer -

• Click this link to download http://www.mind.net/infostream/setup.dmg (This will appear as odd looking code)
• When the page finishes loading click FILE and SaveAs
• Choose to save the file on the desktop
• On the desktop double click the setup.dmg file
• Now double-click the InfoStream Web Accelerator.pkg To begin the install

Step 2: Installation Options

• Introduction - This is a short introduction to InfoStream click CONTINUE
• License - This is the software license agreement click CONTINUE and AGREE
• Select Destination - Choose your Hard Drive and click CONTINUE
• Installation - Wait while the program installs
• A dock icon will appear on your dock, if it does not appear or goes away
• Go to the end of this documentation for how put a dock icon on your dock

Step 3: Post Installation Configuration

• User Info - This is the same information you use to dial up to the internet
• Username - This is your email address, Example: youremail@yourisp.net
• Password - This is your password for the above entered email address
• Click SAVE and CONTINUE
• The program should now open for the first time

What is that thing?

STATUS TAB

• This will display statistics as to how much acceleration has taken place while you are online

IMAGES TAB

• This setting allows you to adjust the image compression (or quality) the recommended
• setting is to leave this as default.

CONNECTION TAB

• Login required for InfoStream service should be checked
• Save Password should be checked
• Username - This should already be entered as your email address
• Password - This will display ***'s as it is an encrypted password

FEATURES TAB

• This show the features included in InfoStream
• Pop-Up blocker - should be checked unless it is posing a specific issue
• Macromedia Flash compression - should be checked unless posing a specific issue

To hide the program while it is running:

• Click the InfoStream Web Accelerator Menu form the top of the screen and choose
• HIDE InfoStream Web Accelerator. This will leave the InfoStream program running
• In the background until you reboot the computer.

To start the program after reboot:

• Just click (or double click depending on your setup) the IS icon on your dock

What if there is no dock Icon?

• Sometimes OS X will create only a temporary icon on the dock until you close the program or
• reboot your machine. To put a permanent Icon on the dock follow these
