Outlook Express Spam Filter Setup Page

First we need to set up an email filter. Start by clicking TOOLS then MESSAGE RULES, and finally MAIL




You will now see a windows that looks like this




You will need to check off the boxes as shown below




Now in box number 3 click on the link that says CONTAINS SPECIFIC WORDS, you will now see a window like the one below. The top box must read the same as the text you entered into the SpamAssassin setup page as below







Now click the ADD button and it will move the text down to the bottom box, to continue click OK



Now click the link in box 3 that says Specified, indicated below with a red arrow




The first thing we will do here is click the NEW FOLDER button and call our new folder SPAM




Click OK and your window should look like the one below, click OK again to continue




Finally look over your settings and fill in box 4, call the mail rule SPAM and Click OK




Now your message rule is set up, you can see that it is enabled here
