MAIL CENTER

WEBMAIL:  Check your email at mind.net, kfalls.net, medford.net and other addresses hosted here by entering your USERNAME and PASSWORD then choosing the "WEB MAIL" button on the right. 

 

CONTROLS:  Choose the "CONTROL PANEL" button to log in to your mail tools.  From here you can set autoresponders, forward mail, change your password, turn on spam filtering, etc.

TELECOM BILLS & PAYMENT

Currently for telecommunication (Phone & Long Distance) accountholders only.  From here you can look at your can view invoices, make payments and more.

DOMAIN EMAIL TOOLS

Change passwords, setup Auto responders & E-mail forwarding, and create & delete accounts for your virtual E-mail. If you operate a web site hosted by InfoStructure, manage the mail for all addresses here.  Individual users at your domain must use the INFOSTRUCTURE MAIL CENTER to manage only their specific address.

This will display your WAN IP Address. Useful for many things.

SPEED TEST

This is the most accurate way to test the speed of your broadband internet connection (cable modem, DSL, fiber optic, T-1, DS3, etc.) if you have an InfoStructure high speed Internet connection.

This tutorial will help you download and install and FTP software and make use of your InfoStructure provided personal web space for light backup and online publishing.  Personal space is not for business use and is limited to 25Mb per account.

FREE SOFTWARE

InfoStructure's staff and many IS customers have had computing successes by downloading freeware (free software) help with regular computer maintenance, heightening security and other necessary tasks.  Links to some of these opinions are provided without warrantee.  Should you choose to install them or search for your own solutions, we suggest you maintain regular backups of important files, read each software solution's web site, and use them at your own risk.  If you find a piece of software you really like, we encourage you to try out that company's paid, full-featured versions.

Grisoft's AVG Free - Protect your computer with ANTIVIRUS software that updates and autoscans.

LavaSoft's AdAware - Reduce adware and adware by scanning your system from time to time.

Spybot's Search & Destroy - Using a couple different scanners for adware and spyware can not hurt.

Windows Updates - If you operate a Windows PC, regular updates for your OS (Operating System) is important. 

CoreFTP - Use FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to upload and download files from hosted web space.

Mozilla FireFox - An exceptional web browser.  Also the Thunderbird email client can be had here.

Other Software - C-Net is one place that Internet users download and rank free, trial based, and paid software.
